Obviously, whichever type of partition you choose, it should look nice and go with the decor in the office. If the office looks nice, office morale is boosted. Therefore, the look of the partitions is really important.

Another benefit to choosing glass partitions is the natural light that it lets in. Sometimes using solid partitions can block some of the natural light coming through the office. However, with glass dividers, the light can come through, which not only saves on electricity costs but can naturally boost the mood throughout the office.

Cons

While glass partitions can look nice, some employees may want more privacy than is provided with glass partitions. While they can still provide some privacy, they do not provide as much privacy as solid partitions would.

Solid Partitions

Some employees may prefer having more privacy rather and less visibility. Also, the noise blockage of solid partitions tends to be greater than that of glass partitions.

Cons

While some people may prefer total privacy, many people enjoy being around other people as they work. Or at least not feeling like they are enclosed and by themselves. Sometimes solid partitions can seem a bit encompassing and claustrophobic.
